CSO registration for the 2016 Annual Meetings is now closed.
For inquiries, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The online registration is open from Monday July 25, 2016 to Friday September
30, 2016. All CSO representatives interested in participating in the 2016 Annual
Meetings must obtain individual registration. The World Bank and the International
Monetary Fund accredit CSOs that are involved in international development policy
dialogue or other issues relevant to the work of the World Bank and the IMF and/or
engage the Bank and the Fund on a broad range of operations at the local, national,
and global levels. There is no limit to the number of applicants from a single organization,
but each applicant must apply individually.
All CSO registration requests are first reviewed by the External and Corporate Relations
Department of the World Bank Group (ECR) and the Communications Department of the
IMF (COM). Once vetted by ECR/COM to ensure that they meet the two criteria described
above, the applications are forwarded to the respective Executive Director's office
(based on the country from which the request originated), for clearance. The Executive
Directors have 8 working days to review the requests for registration. At the end
of this process, the participant will be notified by the Civil Society Team (ECR/COM)
whether they are registered. As the process can take up to 21 days, please apply
early to give yourself enough time to make travel and visa arrangements.
We will not be able to provide registration after Friday, September 30, 2016
deadline, thus CSO representatives are encouraged to apply early for registration.
For information on registration issues, please send an email to
email@example.com, or call 1 - 202 - 473 -1840.
